Emeritus Professor Miranda D Grounds runs a research program in the School of Anatomy and Human Biology at UWA, where her cell biology research has focused on skeletal muscle mass and function, including damage and regeneration, in normal and diseased muscles and ageing. The Grounds laboratory has particular interest in aspects of ImmunoAgeing, Oxidative stress, Extracellular matrix, Neurological system, Exercise and Stem cell function.
